What Are Groups?

A group is a collection of trainees, who can be managed together. A group may be based on department or job role for example.

Groups make it easy to assign training courses and exams to large groups of users.

Prodeceo offers four distinct group types:

• Position
• Department
• Location
• Miscellaneous

While the first three groups are obvious, the last one is intended for groups which do not fall into the other logical group types. For example a graduate intake which may span multiple roles, departments and locations.

These groups make it easy to assign and report on training. You can for example report on all Sales Assistants in Manchester by selecting the appropriate position and location.
